Coffman Racing Formula Drift Orlando 2016 Recap

The Coffman Racing Team came to Round Three, Formula Drift Orlando ready for competition. For the first time this season there was no rain, which meant that the drivers were able to get some decent practice on Thursday.  We were able to get reacquainted with the track and ready to shred in qualifying.

Friday we were able to get in some additional practice before qualifying. Matt laid down two solid qualifying runs, and wound up qualifying 18th.  This meant Matt was up against our good friend Pat Mordaunt.  Matt threw down an awesome lead run, even dragging his bumper along the wall, and a chase run with great proximity, but the judges gave the win to Mordaunt.  While it wasn't the outcome we were hoping for, the two drivers shook hands and will be ready for Round Four.  We hope to see you for Round Four at Wall Speedway in New Jersey on June 17th & 18th.
